The company says that the word ‘Sol’ has been derived from the Latin word for Sun and they states that they give this name because of the high brightness of the device. It has 3.8-inch, 800 x 480p, Ultra AMOLED display which will provide twice clarity of the traditional AMOLED display. It has a 1.4GHz processor, 5 Mega Pixel Camera with Auto Focus. It also includes the options for Wi-Fi, DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance), GPS (Global Positioning System), HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) connectivity options.
The specifications of LG Optimus Hub are also attractive, it’s features includes 5 Mega Pixel Camera with face and smile detection capabilities and TFT , 480 x 320p, 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen and running of ARMv6 processor of 800MHz. It also includes Adreno 200 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). The other features are, it employs Optimus 2.0 UI (User Interface), supports GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wi-Fi.
These smartphones are now available in India at authorized retail stores and are priced at Rs. 19,000 and Rs. 14,500, respectively.
