Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V

What do you do, when you can’t find enough camera sensors for the cameraphone which you was manufacturing? Well, it seems that this was the question that went through the minds of engineers at Sony Ericsson some time before .They went close to shutting down its production but in the end they came up with a new model, the Xperia Neo V.

The Neo V is not an upgrade of its earlier version, the Neo, But actually it is a downgrade forced by some special circumstances. According to a company insider, the deadly Japan earthquake took lives and brought the local electronics industry to a halt. Sony was affected too and, with a shortage of 8 megapixel camera sensors looming, someone had to take the hit. That someone was the Xperia neo. So they simply took away the 8MP camera replaced it by a 5MP one and introduced a new android version. All this meant the price tag went down.

Features:

Although it posts some disadvantages like the poor viewing angles for the display or Loudspeaker with average performance and very limited video codec support, How it stages itself in the market is something not to be predicted
