hello guys, i am making an object counter based on a pic 16F877, i need to count the pulses that occur when an LED goes on and off, how do i connect these wires that are across the LED to a PIC

Sorry for the delay in reply.
You may also sense the LED status by using Photo diode. It is the best method.
Or
You can take the voltage across LED. Use a Transistor as a Switch to boost the voltage to 5v.
