After low cost tablets now it’s low cost 4G.
After reports of a 4G tablet priced around Rs.3500 scheduled to launched by 2012 end, Reliance Industries Limited is now bundling 4G plans for as low as Rs.10/1GB with it.
As of present RIL is the exclusive pan-India 4G license holder. The services are based on LTE technology which till now has only been tested in developed markets. RIL has shelled out about Rs13000 for this spectrum.
The Service can be accessed through USB sticks, WiFi modems and any other gadget having 4G connectivity. With the present 3G plans offering no affordable plans for average consumer and most of the tablet prices remaining high, the introduction of such a low cost tablet accompanying such an affordable plan will be a boon to consumers.
